Donations

Operation Orphans is a non-profit organization that provides children with unique and wonderful outdoor experiences by sponsoring hunting and fishing trips in the Texas Hill Country, since 1960. In many cases, this is the first real such experience these children have been able to do.

There are many ways that you can help support Operation Orphans.  Financial donations are always greatly appreciated as they provide our leadership the most flexibility on addressing the most critical issues.  


We will make the most of whatever you choose to provide us but we are always in need of food stocks to feed the kids during events.  We also have a great need for warm clothing of all shapes and sizes, such as coats, caps, gloves, shirts and pants.  

Perhaps the most important support that anyone can give is the gift of their time.  Operation Orphans is always looking for experienced guides for our kids, ranches that will host some of our hunters and a variety of other skills and talents.  If you have time available, we will put you to work!

• Ammunition
• Feed and mineral for our pastures
• Hand and machine tools
• Public relations, advertising and printing

The hunts are held in October, November, December, and January of each year on many ranches throughout the Hill Country.
